I was at the cafeteria at work, being little miss social butterfly. Minding my own snack business, the girls behind me got in what I thought was a great conversation. One of them was going back to school, and the other was advising her against the career path she had chosen.
Well that got my nosy brain thinking 🤔. As human beings, we all have different life experiences. We can go to the same church service, but have totally different experiences. I may not have felt the spirit, but maybe you on the other hand, the Holy Spirit may have knocked your wig off. Different strokes for different folks. 
You can have siblings growing up with the same parents, under the same roof and still turn out like strangers. Why? Because even though they were faced with the same circumstances, their experiences were different. Turn on FoxNews and CNN, and you will see the difference in reporting the same “breaking news”.
I say that to say this; don’t ever let anyone talk you out of your dreams. Explore your options, do your research and pray about it. Ultimately you will be the only one to live with the consequences of your actions. Whether or not you choose to pursue your heart’s desires, it should be up to you.
Folks will advise you based on their experiences. Yes respect their opinions, and understand that you can’t change their perception. However, a Lion and Hyena both live in the jungle but have different experiences. Make your own judgment when it comes to matters of the heart.
